We offer riding lessons in western horsemanship to riders 8 and older of all experience levels. Whether you've never ridden before and always dreamed of it or have years of experience, we'd be happy to have you. Our instructor and trainer Katrina Dorer has years of experience riding under world class trainers and teaching students of all ages.
Lessons are $60/hour, or purchase 4 for $230
Emerald Ridge Stables Cancellation Policy:
If you must cancel a lesson, please give us 24 hours notice or you will be expected to pay for the missed lesson. It is understandable if you miss a lesson due to an emergency, sudden illness or bad weather but please give us as much notice as possible. Thank you.
Training
Training
Katrina specializes in Ranch Horse and Competitive Trail, but can train Pleasure, Horsemanship, Trail, Western Riding, Showmanship, Dressage, and Hunter Under Saddle. Even if you have no intentions of showing and just need some help with your horse or want to increase your horses value, Katrina would be happy to help. She also loves to work with unbrokes and can work with trailer loading problems and problems standing for a farrier.
If you board your horse with us, Katrina will work with your horse 5 days a week.
Stall board with training: $1200/month
$60/hour for individual training sessions at Emerald Ridge Stables.
